About
Olá!
My name is Laura and I love film, storytelling, and communication.
I work with small screens...
I’m a project manager with over ten years of experience in video and content production, having worked with animation, audio guides for museums, YouTube channels, and social media for a wide range of clients. I have worked both in-house and in agencies / service providers such as Wonnder (Zürich) and Mynd (Frankfurt).
In Brazil, I served as Head of Content and screenwriter at Zenit, where I wrote over 50 YouTube videos for an audience of 1 million subscribers. My writing experience also includes blog articles, program booklets, a book, and a theater play. My essay "Between Unity and Fragmentation: The Highly Choreographed Long Take" was published in the film journal Screen (Oxford University Press).
... and big screens.
I am responsible for film scouting at Films for the Earth (Winterthur), where I also help program and plan the festival and other screenings.
I had the opportunity to edit and co-author the short film Interlude (Irgendwann – Uma Hora ou Outra), which was selected for nine festivals worldwide, including the 39th Kasseler Dokfest and the 14th Seattle Latino Film Festival. I also co-directed and edited the documentary Moving Waters, which was nominated at the 32nd Hessian Youth Media Festival Visionale20.
I hold a Master of Arts in Theater, Film, and Media Studies from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. I’m also an alumna of the New York Film Academy.
